The Racor 75/900FHX Diesel Turbine Fuel Filter is designed to protect your valuable engine components from various contaminants such as dirt, rust, algae, asphalts, varnishes and water.
The duplex multifunction valve allows filters to be used singly or together, and allows maintenance of a filter while the engine is running.
The Racor 75900FHX10 marine turbine is designed to be installed on the vacuum side of the fuel transfer pump for maximum efficiency. Racor turbines work through a three-stage process; Melting Separation and Filtration is explained below.
As fuel enters the filter assembly; It moves through the turbine centrifuge and rotates large solids and water droplets that fall to the bottom of the collection container.
Small water droplets along the sides of the chamber and on the element, once sufficiently heavy these also fall to the bottom of the collection bowl.
Algae, rust and dirt are filtered from the fuel by the Aquabloc element, since the elements are waterproof they are much more effective and durable than water absorbing elements.
The Racor 75/900FHX diesel filter comes complete with clear bowls and a set of 10 micron elements. The turbine has a maximum flow rate of 681 LPH through a port size of 7/8'-14 UNF.
Replacement Racor turbine elements (2040 series) are available to order with various micron ratings. Racor 2040 turbine elements measure 110mm diameter x 118mm high.
